Keep your spare reed on your bassoon next to the crook while playing.
The reed peg attaches with double sided tape (already fitted) to the metal band on the wing joint next to the crook.
Push the spare reed onto the peg ready for when you need to swap reeds during a performance or while practising. If something goes wrong with your reed while playing, you can swap the reed quickly by taking your spare from the peg.
