The Fox Renard 220D is one of Fox’s most popular models. It has most of the professional range characteristics one would desire from a bassoon but at a mid-range price. The 220D is a “long bore” bassoon which has consistent and easy response, stability, and an even tone.
In particular, this bassoon features:
- Long bore design – giving a stable sound and well balanced intonation
- Superb intonation
- A free blowing, musical and far reaching sound with easy high notes
- Silver-plated keywork in very good condition
- Varnish in near-perfect condition
- French-style bell ring
