A Schreiber S31 bassoon for sale in outstanding condition. The S31 is one of Schreiber's professional models (the same acoustics as the S71), but with reduced keywork. This particular bassoon dates from 2005 and has had one owner.
Notably this bassoon is a short reach model. That makes it interesting for someone who needs short reach keywork but a higher quality sound. It plays better than an S13 short reach bassoon, for example, with a rounder sound, better projection and improved intonation. If you have smaller hands, then this is a quality that will allow you to play comfortably, with good technique, but without compromise on tone.
